A generative artist is part designer, part explorer, and part curator. The computer makes the art, and I program the computer — does that make it my medium, or my assistant? The computer is industrious, indefatigable, and at times infuriating. I feed it mathematics and colors, coax it away from infinite loops and other pathological behaviors, and in return I get beautiful glimpses into other worlds.
